I feel very similar. Some people get really into hating on teams that are very successful or have had a lot of success (Yankees, Patriots, Duke, Chiefs.....)....like you, I reserve my sports hate for the teams that really deserve it like the Badgers and Hawkeyes :)

Sorry but tough to take anyone serious who says they wouldn't want Dawson back next year. If it worked out where Dawson could come back next year you take him in a heartbeat. There is no scenario where Dawson Garcia wouldn't make the 25-26 version of the basketball team better.

Impossible to say given all the question marks on our guys and the unknowns of what all the other teams are going to end up looking like in the Big Ten. But on paper that certainly looks like a solid starting 5, or at least one with the potential to be good.

Yep, preseason schedule doesn't have to be a murderer's row and plenty of room for cupcakes but should at least have some decent teams in it. Non-conf schedules the past couple years have been a joke. Hopefully we see a definite improvement on that front. This tournament or showcase or...

Pretty sure if you don't enter by April 22nd you can still transfer but you won't officially be in the transfer portal which makes it known to teams that you are open to being recruited.

I've said before....at some point here we are going to see someone attempt an in season transfer in college basketball at the semester break and sue for immediate eligibility for that same season. Only a matter of time. I mean there are still rules but seems like anything that gets challenged...

I think the portal is only open for entry during the specific windows but you can sign guys anytime up to whatever the deadline is to have your roster set for the upcoming season. That said, I doubt there is really anything to stop guys from going into the portal basically anytime they want to...

The fact that he is coming to campus is a very good sign at least. As long as money is somewhat comparable I assume there would be a real appeal to sticking with the same head coach.
