I think this is totally realistic. You could almost see game by game things slowing down out there for him. He’s got all the tools.

Well just whine a little about missed opportunities seeing Illinois and the bowl game they are in compared to the one we are in is a buzz kill. We’re in a longish bad streak of shitty bowl games that we need to break next year. That said, still looking forward to kickoff on the third.

Wouldn’t of mattered how many four-star guys we recruited when Cobb and Mo were carrying the ball they would’ve ridden the bench. At times we pined for other positions needing more talent but generally not RB.

Maybe coming out of HS, but his first game at the U he was running around making tackles on specials teams and he then spent the next four years making tackles all over the field as a LBer. I just remember people being happy that we got him versus degrading his measurables.

That’s not true with a few exceptions we have always had great RBs. The Eskridge and Bennett years may be the exceptions but then again everything kinda sucked for a bit then.

I don’t think he’s Travis Hunter 2.0 but he certainly can play 10 to 15 plays per game at WR. It seems like the same culprits talking about him not being able to play much offense as the ones who talked about him not being ready to start earlier in the year.
