I believe that part of a typical HC’s negotiation when he talks contract with the school is the size of his assistants pool. Perhaps I’m mistaken. If not, then as PJ has continued to outperform or at least perform as it relates to his contract, the assistant pool has apparently lagged behind...

Oh, for F sake. If he doesn’t have enough juice after 8 years to have what he needs in his assistants pool then he’s dumber than I thought. Is he underpaid? If not, which I think is the answer, then why are the assistants—mainly the coordinators?

If those two knuckleheads aren’t responsible for making sure we are paying at or above the going wage for coaches, then who is? Coyle is the king of the dipshits.
