Same as last year … losing four transfers out; Majors, Manghan, Bangura and Nubin. Added three transfers in. We passed a lot last year. If we have an effective QB and some decent receivers, should pass the same in 2025. Also, lining up some guys in case DT goes pro after 2025, I imagine.

6’2”. Can’t teach tall. But not heavy enough to play in B1G yet. Depth/development add, I suspect.

Tall: 6'2". Appears to have good instincts for the position. Won't be able to play in B1G until he adds some serious pounds. At his current weight he'd likely be run over by B1G running backs. Has a red-shirt year and two years two play. Looks like a depth/development add.

My point is that I think PJ is done looking for transfer QBs in this portal--even though the portal is loaded with possibilities. PJ got one who will probably compete to start in 2025, and will be a good, credible No. 2 if Lindsay's time to start has come.

Lindsay is going to be a starter for the Gophers someday. But if the Lindsay experiment is a bit early next year, or if he gets injured, I think PJ has just maximized his back-up insurance policy. Pyron is experienced. He has started and performed well in some big games at the P4 level. He might...
