Exactly. Those were the unknowns who played well enough. We are starting with an All-B1G player in Dawson and hoping to add guys like Battle and Peyton.

And all that extra exertion/exposure in the NCAA tournament must have been terrible for him. He’ll probably be given the reigns next year at MSU.

Dawson Garcia is the difference, but of course we aren’t probably going to have a player of his caliber very often with this model. Have to take advantage of it and hope someone else (or 3) blow up!

You are correct! I always forget about them. The only weirder thing is 5 seed has never won it all. No wonder those dang 12s always feel like they have a chance.

I believe someone previously mentioned it, but giving it to the end of April is more than fair given the negotiations have also changed in regards to NIL. That being said, it’s a good point.
