Thanks for letting fans be fans. Appreciate it. Rose Bowl, State Farm Stadium.....all the same.

It appears an undefeated college football team ranked in the top 30 of the AP Poll just lost its starting quarterback ... because of an NIL dispute.

$100,000 seems reasonable for a school at UNLV's level if he had P4 offers like his dad said he did. UNLV was good last year and figured to be even better this year if they could replace their QB that left for USC.

USC DL Bear Alexander plans to redshirt the remainder of the season and enter the transfer portal

Unless it makes more money (or saves a school money), no decision will be ever be based on helping the sport. TV ratings are sky high, ticket sales nationwide are up, stadiums are being renovated. The UNLV QB will make a lot of money come 2025.

It appears an undefeated college football team ranked in the top 30 of the AP Poll just lost its starting quarterback ... because of an NIL dispute.

UNLV's running back transfer from NC State also said he was redshirting. Fourth leading rusher....says its about playing time, not NIL though. Dang..back to back home games against Fresno and Syracuse on FS1. I think the Raiders stadium wouldve been pretty filled.

    Where Are We Headed

The top 25 doesn't look that much different than it did in 2019 (aside from Wisconsin/Iowa going from top 14 to out). Traditional powers along with Missouri, Iowa State, UNLV, Kansas State, Boise State ranked. Washington State, Indiana, Boston College, UCF narrowly missing out.

    Start Time for Michigan Game

I don't know next week's order of pick between NBC, Fox and CBS, but NBC could use a good game... Since NBC took over the Big Ten’s prime-time package last year, the network has aired 14 Big Ten-controlled prime-time games (Ohio State at Notre Dame does not count). Only one of those...

YouTuber put video out indicating that Minn is one of the "historically TERRIBLE college football teams"

All conference teams were affected to varying degrees. The Big Ten has four national champions in the past 50 years. 19 in the previous 50 years.

***OFFICIAL RHODE ISLAND AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

"That great coverage is brought to you by..." Followed immediately by "that intercepton means $1000 donated by" After commercial break...."that replay is brought to you by..." "Time for our affiliate salute" "Time for an ID check" This is unlistenable.

    Peacock

Less likely. The first month you have to find homes for 12-18 games every week. Once conference play kicks in it’s down to half of that. Peacock will still have some games but it should be the dregs (hope the Gophers beat Iowa).

Why not be more skeptical of a newly hired head football coach here at Minnesota and more supportive of the existing coach?

Just because you haven't heard it, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. This is from a Gopher WBB message board in 2006: Posted April 5, 2006 Yeah, it's a bummer so far with Davis, Lacey, Broback and now Podominick gone. Went to several of the games at the Barn the past few years and nothing was...

Darius Taylor and Daniel Jackson dealing with injuries.

Availability reports have to be submitted to the Big Ten by 2 hours before game time so shouldn't have to wait for the broadcast to know. Right now they just have Rutgers posted. Have to click on small week 1 link https://bigten.org/fb/article/blt376070b4270ab9d7/

    UNC Attendance

I think the point was to give everyone a heads up that this won't be a traditional game day in regards to traffic (i.e. 4th street to 35W down to 2 lanes) and people should plan accordingly.

STrib: Gophers AD Mark Coyle says department might need a GM role to oversee ‘cap management’

Darius Taylor and Daniel Jackson dealing with injuries.

Illinois lost a tight end of the season. Nebraska lost its starting left tackle for the season. Notre Dame lost its starting left tackle for the season. Texas A&M lost a key running back for the season. Oklahoma lost a starting receiver for the season. Tennessee lost a starting corner for the...
