Last year, UNC's recruiting class was 11th best. Ours was 50 something. They recruit players we cannot touch. We absolutely should have a problem competing with them. Fleck needs to do a better job recruiting if he wants to compete with top 25 teams. It's as simple as that.

Again, this is what happens when you have a recruiting class ranked consistently at the bottom of the big 10 going up against a team with a recruiting class in the top 15 of all programs. We just don't have the talent to compete right now.

This is about how I expected this game to go. Hopefully our D can keep us in the game and UNC will make a mistake. Still has a big chance to be a ugly game for us.

Very disappointing for us Gophers fans. There is no way we’ll compete for a Big 10 Championship if we cannot recruit the caliber of players as other Big 10 teams.

So many moral victories in this thread! ”The improved throughout the year” Who cares? The team as a whole got a lot worse over the offseason and never got close to where they were last year. This team is a 2 win team. The season was a terrible disappointment. But hey! 2 wins is more wins...
