In regards to stupid fouls, Payne to his credit has done a very good job hedging without fouling so far.

I know Mitchell shouldn’t leave his feet, but they never make that call in College. That’s a terrible call.

Rutgers with the big W at home against Northwestern. It might have been the worst no call I’ve seen in a while against Boo Bouie. Arguably just as bad as the call against New York the other night. They played well enough to get the W regardless.

Yeah I’d personally be happy with hiring Holtmann. He’s a proven commodity. A couple down years, but I’d at least expect to be respectable again. Still expecting Ben to be the coach next year and hoping he can find his stride as his recruits get older.

I love to rip on refs as much as the next guy, but our players deserve 95% of the blame for picking up most of those brutally stupid fouls that got us in trouble. Then the injury compounded the problem.

They also beat us by 9 at home. Seems fair, especially given your valid point of how difficult it is to win on the road in college basketball these days.

They’d arguably be a top 25 team tbh. 16-5 overall and 4th in the B1G. But that’s not how this works.

I feel like his impact will be made blocking. I’m sure he wants to be Travis Kelce (don’t we all?), but he just has to be an adequate receiver near the goal line and could stay in the NFL for a long time.
