Is a PWO more likely to get a scholarship now with the transfer portal? Seems like the possibility of a one year scholarship might be greater given the fact that teams now hold spots open for transfers in the spring and they don’t always get filled.

I loved Kill…although I think had reached his ceiling at MN. Fleck is too noisy for me but I am happy with the results and appreciate that he has a thoughtful approach to the total student athlete and not just on field results.

Definitely a risk if you sit too low. I had tix in row 14 lower level for a while and just couldn’t see plays develop. Now in row 22 and find that height is perfect balance of being close enough to the field but high enough to see the game.

What is next for 2023 class? Waiting for spring to see who transfers out and who may be available? Not seeing any other individual player threads for 2023.

Good call on MLK...missed that

Over the years I have learned to adjust to the early weekday starts...but I do dislike them. As I was adding the 2022-23 games to my calendar I noticed a couple of crazy game times. Illinois (at home) is 5 PM on a Monday (1/16) and OSU on the road is 530 on a Thursday (1/12). This is getting absurd.

Maxy, Depends on how you look at the purpose of the lots. My view is that they are parking lots that allow tailgating and not tailgate lots that allow parking. I ran into the problem you mentioned in lot 37 the past several years where I would arrive 75 minutes before the game and attendants...

Moved out of Lot 37 for that reason. Minnesota lot has numbered reserved spots. Consider that for 2023.

Agree. Fanatics is junk. Supporting my kids schools as well and the fanatics gear they have is also trash.

Wow…those are some tough opponents to open conference play with. Although, with Izzo, MSU gets better during the year…rather catch them early!
