D1 prospect Ahjany Lee transferring to Totino-Grace

What part of what he said isn't true? Even with a divorce you still need an address change outside of the school district. As far as transferring to a private school there are some circumstances when an appeal may be approved to allow immediate eligibility, but the bylaw is clear.

Fraschilla: One Top 40 program coach told me last week that they will no longer recruit HS players but will live in the transfer portal.

I said many times he was perfectly happy to bring in guys like Brandon Johnson rather than wait for players like Race Thompson to blossom.

Every time I watch a video my question is the same. What am I watching?

B1G Way Too Early Power Rankings

Basically looked like they quit on the season... There wasn’t any room for that roster to withstand injuries. Effort wasn’t the issue. No doubt expectations for 2022 are low.

Souhan: As outward flow of Minnesota basketball talent continues, we look inward to Ben Johnson

To say the Tom Crean experiment is off to a rough start in Athens would be a ridiculous understatement. The former Indiana and Marquette men’s basketball coach has slightly improved the team’s record year-to-year from his disastrous first season at Georgia, but that’s not the problem here. The...

All Things Chet Holmgren Recruitment Thread (Class of 2021, Gophers Have Offered)

Durant is a good comparison. Going back to 2006 for that one shows how rare it is. Add him in the batch with Livingston, Prince, Chandler as a guy that scouts knew would be fine in the NBA over time.

Here's the issue: Since 2014 there have been 17 MN-born 4-star recruits, Gophers signed 3 of them

2009 HS class. He did very well for the Gophers. That was a HUGE recruiting class for the Gophers as they also had Royce White.

All Things Chet Holmgren Recruitment Thread (Class of 2021, Gophers Have Offered)

I've never really seen a guy built like him do that well in college. In many ways he's like Tayshaun Prince, Tyson Chandler, and Shaun Livingston where the scouts drool because they are projecting further out. College basketball for Suggs and Holmgren was only going to be a one-year...

Not sure what constitutes a 4 star but it has to be primarily these guys: Tyus Jones Rashad Vaughn Reid Travis J.P. Macura Amir Coffey Gary Trent, Jr. Jericho Sims Nate Reuvers Brad Davison Race Thompson Tre Jones Daniel Oturu Both Gach Matthew Hurt Zeke Nnaji Tyrell Terry Jalen Suggs Dawson...

One-and-a-half and done with Joel Przybilla. I pull for all these guys. They aren't what really matters in college basketball very often.

All Things Chet Holmgren Recruitment Thread (Class of 2021, Gophers Have Offered)

For many, college is a stop to the professional ranks. CFB & CBB are the de facto minor leagues. So for Suggs the purpose of CBB was like a gap year: a fun year of personal growth. An "amazing legacy" in the halls of Gonzaga? Puh-leaze. He had a good year there. It was going to be a Top 5...

No question! That's was unreal. Bigger than Bryce Drew's shot or Ali from UNI.

I remember tons of guys that played CBB for years and made a huge impact. Garza is one. Suggs won't be known much for his exploits with the Bulldogs. There's nothing wrong with that. He's going to be fine.

3rd leading scorer on a Top 2 team that played the bulk of its schedule against double-digit underdogs. What exactly is the lasting impact of Suggs' time in Spokane? It was a great place to park for 7 months on his way to the NBA. He is not going down in the annals of CBB history as Kemba Walker.

Now that his college choice has been made I feel better about sharing my thoughts. A player like this rarely makes a big impact on their college team because they aren't around long enough. Examples include Kris Humphries or Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons, both who were the #1 overall pick in...

Cashius McNeilly & Emanuel Miller (Texas A&M) both in the portal

I can't believe how many players are from Toronto area when I watch CBB. Danalo Banton from Nebraska was one of over a dozen I saw this season. A recruiting hotbed for sure.
