Exactly. And then everybody would be complaining that Ben doesn’t think he can hang with the Izzos of the college coaching world and he gave up on a talent like Tre. I would put money on Tre still being priority #1 for Ben and staff.

Why is that? Ben and the staff at this point are not doing that at all, so he must not feel like he is out of it.

MN, Vanderbilt, and Iowa State were the three after Watson most recently, but who knows if he has a committable offer from Vanderbilt or ISU after the last few weeks not knowing their numbers and who they are looking at. Guessing MN would still love to have him and his potential. Guessing Lee...

So ANYWAY, anybody know where Payne’s AAU team is playing this weekend? Last weekend they were in Sioux Falls, but I know Peach Jam is happening right now in Georgia along with a big tournament in Indiana. Loved the reports on his play from two weeks ago, hoping that continues.

Don't blame them. Have to assume Payne schedules his soon and then hopefully Tre follows as well before his decision in September.

Not sure if it’s wrapping up this week, but agree his exposure has been limited while his play has been impressive. He was in a tournament in Sioux Falls last weekend while most coaches were in Dallas and Georgia. Decision sounds like it’s coming very soon.

My thoughts exactly and I would be thrilled to have Payne and Carrington. I go back and forth on Tre - don’t think anybody knows what Tre is going to do except for Tre. The amount of time the coaches are spending on him every weekend shows they don’t believe they are out of it.

I’ve seen/read that as well. At least with him, there aren’t new schools entering the conversation after his performance this summer.

And all three would be fantastic pick ups. Still in it with Holloman, Wolf, Watson, Lee (would they take him now?), Byrd, Dix, Knight. Have to assume Ola-Joseph is on their radar and may be getting an offer at some point. Wonder if they are waiting to see what Watson does first.
