As a few others already said, Joyner was impressive against a LT that apparently "NFL scouts love". Noticeably quicker than some of the other DEs.

Just to add to this, when you get the ball there quicker, the DBs have less time to react. So the receivers don't even need to get as much separation from the defender to be open, assuming the the passes are still delivered accurately.

You're right about Smith and you might be right about Cobb, but I'm not sure. I think the vision and burst still put him cleanly ahead of either of those guys.
