We stayed at the Motel 6 in Cedar Rapids. It was OK. The rooms were spartan but clean and adequate. The beds were comfortable enough, although it had all the charm of a college dorm. One group in another room didn't have pillows. Never seen that before. Our room had pillows.

It will be interesting to see what the remaining schools do. Will they bring in new teams to fill up the membership or will the remaining schools be scrambling to find new homes of their own?

I was at a game at Kinnick. Hawkeye fans yelled "Gophers suck." I was deeply disappointed. Not at smack talk, I'm totally cool with that, I was just hoping for some quality smack. That was like ordering your smack talk on Wish.com.
