    Who will replace Saban?

It doesn't matter. Hire a golden retriever and they will still win. Cheated for multiple decades and still do. NIL coming out their behinders. Jimmys and Joes...

    Oregon has Minnesota needs

Glenn went to Mankato, lives there and donates to MSU-M. The basketball arena is literally called: The "Taylor Center".

Jerry Kill gets job at Vanderbilt.

Old Gypsy Jer sure is a rolling stone! Man that guy bounces around alot.

    Non Revenue Generating Sports

It's possible and I am not backing this up with any facts and I will concede that. I just know that whenever there is a regional or frozen four out east there are like 100-200 people in the stands even when it's being played in some of the team's backyards.

At 3-1, are the Gophers good, does the B1G stink, or is it a little of both?

Yep, 20% would account for that. Hawkins, Christie, Mitchel. That is the difference. Guard play is what makes teams go. Why do you think Wisconsin is always good? They recruit SMART guards that defend, don't turn it over and can make open shots. Usually they aren't even very good athletes...

At 3-1, are the Gophers good, does the B1G stink, or is it a little of both?

Not no chance, but less than 20%. They haven't had a guard that is better than anything Mankato state has had under Ben until this year. It makes all the difference. I suppose Willis and Cooper, but I would argue those guys couldn't hold this current backcourt's jockstraps.

Baseball and softball also have tons of travel. They are on a plane every weekend until at least April.

    Non Revenue Generating Sports

This is so just not true. Travel, coaching salaries, trainers, strength and conditioning, etc. It costs plenty to run any college program. Do you think track brings in any revenue? I would guess they bring in under 10k per year. Probably even less.

    Non Revenue Generating Sports

If you did this it would be North Dakota and MAYBE MN, MN St. and St. Cloud. That's it. Literally hockey has much less interest nationally than womens bball, softball, etc.

Even with poor non-conference slate, 21 wins should get the Gophers a ticket to the Madness

86 NET now after Nebraska helping us out. NCAA or bust. To hell with the NIT. I'd rather watch womens table tennis.

At 3-1, are the Gophers good, does the B1G stink, or is it a little of both?

Payne is a terrible FT shooter. Shaq like. Honestly, it would do him good to just try to old granny shot. I bet he would make quite a few more than what he does now this way.

At 3-1, are the Gophers good, does the B1G stink, or is it a little of both?

I would disagree with this. They might have won one of them. Yes, Mich and Maryland are down, but maybe you should check in on Nebraksa, they just handed Purdue their butts last night.

At 3-1, are the Gophers good, does the B1G stink, or is it a little of both?

I voted a little of both. But here is the main thing I like to see. This team plays MUCH harder than anything we've seen from Ben coached teams yet. This teams plays MUCH better defense than anything we've seen from Ben. This team has MUCH better guards than Ben has had here so far. They have...

Going into the Big Ten season, the Gophers team is?...

Only reason I think they can win more now is the Big Ten doesn't look great. Yes, there are those few teams, but overall, I'm thinking there is a big bunch of teams that are all about the same right now.

Going into the Big Ten season, the Gophers team is?...

I'm with you on this analysis. I was thinking 6-8 BT wins with the new guard guard improving along the year #24. How many are we thinking it takes to get in the tourney? 10 wins? 11? 9 even? I'm hoping, thinking, maybe this team wins 9 BT games. We will see but if they want to show they are...

    The Final Straw

Yep, some kind of contract system is going to have to be put in place. The neverending transferring and the sitting out of bowl games is really a bummer. Maybe they don't care about the bowl games, not sure how much money alot of them make. Because we all know the only way anything changes is...

5* Dylan Raiola commits to Nebraska: No. 1 QB in 2024 flips from Georgia, becomes program's highest-rated recruit

Imagine what his parents are like. They are the ones that had him all over the place switching high schools, etc., bet they are just a treat. He and Nebraska better be good or things will get sour for this new coach in a hurry.

    This is Lunacy

All I know is this NIL stuff sure makes these kids words mean nothing. "Committed", doesn't mean a thing at the D1 Power 5 level. The rest of college sports isn't hurt by NIL, but this level it has basically turned into free agency. Not sure how you fix it, but I would start with binding...

    This is Lunacy

They haven't had to for years. Basically, what Clem was busted for years ago has been going on at Universities forever. This is why there are haves and have nots. For some reason the NCAA decided some winners and loser and now NIL and here we are.

Midseason termination is not a bad thing

What is the "right way"? Losing alot? Not guarding anyone? Turning the ball over alot? These 3 things have been constants since Ben got here. They are also thing that a coach can control and don't have a ton to do with talent! The right coach teaches every player to play the game at the highest...
