All Things Gophers Basketball Class of 2022 Recruiting Thread

I mean yes, but Gable's deal is much more related to the gold medal than anything he has done in Minnesota haha. Maybe if he had gotten that deal off being a national champion only it would be a lot more relatable to recruits. College football and basketball players don't have the opportunity...

Mo Ouch! - Injury Watch Thread

Mo's injury is really bumming me out. He just is such a game changer and singlehandedly occupies the D enough for Morgan to make some big throws. With him in, I feel like they looked like an 8 win team at minimum and maybe more. With him out, unless one of the backups has a breakout year, I...

***OFFICIAL OHIO STATE AT MINNESOTA SEASON OPENING IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

That's probably it. Proud of the guys for fighting tough but OSU was just better. Awful about Mo, if he's out any significant amount of time it could derail the whole season

D1 prospect Ahjany Lee transferring to Totino-Grace

Probably will stay with someone on the Totino team during the week and go back to Byron on weekends. The way I understand it when going to a private school, you just have to move out of your current district, so the family could've just moved from Byron to Kasson and he could enroll at Totino...

10 Reasons Gophers Will Finally Win the Big Ten West… And my 3 Biggest Worries coming true for them to fail to win it

Yes and if they become a 5-7 win team with 8-9 as the outlier i wouldn't be very impressed...I see 8-4 as what should be the baseline for a good program with 10+ every once in a while. But if you see 8-4 this season with wins over Iowa AND Wisconsin as a failure, I'm not sure you would view any...

10 Reasons Gophers Will Finally Win the Big Ten West… And my 3 Biggest Worries coming true for them to fail to win it

Wow, I'd be extremely happy with that. We haven't beat Iowa since 2014 and we all know how rare wins against Wisconsin are. 8-4 is a very solid season and would give us lots of momentum going into the future, especially with rivalry wins. I'm 26, we've beat Wisconsin 3 times since I was born...

Big Ten Basketball: Ranking each team’s league schedule for 2021-22 season

0.2% chance seems high lol. If they finish top 4 this year give Ben a lifetime contract.

LGHL: You’re Nuts: Who will finish in last place in the Big Ten?; There’s a pretty clear worst team, but the case could be made for as many as five!

Yeah I think that is spot on. I'd be extremely happy with 4-5 Big Ten wins this year and am expecting 2, maybe. But that's ok, if frustrating. It's not about this year for Ben.

I think what he trying to say is at DLS, Thorson was very animated and boisterous on the sidelines.
