I’m with you. Entering the season, it felt like the year that could put Gard on the hot seat. If you told me on Nov 1 that badgers would make the tournament and have a round 1 loss, I’d say it would have solidified Gard’s job…. I thought then and still think now that they aren’t a very good team...

Was Coffey hampered by shoulder injuries his senior year? I thought he was as high as 40s after junior year but he slipped late.

But only 2 tournament wins without Bo Ryan’s final four vets. He runs a high floor low ceiling program imo. Arrow has been pointing downward for a few years. I think Johnny Davis saved him from the hot seat once. Storr is doing it again this year.

The one that jumps out to me was the quick pull to go up 51-48. He had been feeling it but patient for a few possessions… then just pulls the trigger with no hesitation in crunch time. Took guts since that wows like a 2 second possessions.
