To me, it would depend on how many of the current players stick around. If a lot of them depart, then I want new HS commits to replace them. If they stick around, then I say take a grad transfer that can play a role around them.

I just read that the senior recognition is AFTER the game. This seems like a very bad idea given how bad the loss could be.

It probably helps with recruiting too in that recruits can see that the coach will be there for their 4 years.

And that’s the beauty of the transfer portal. Kids can try a school/coach for a year or two and if it doesn’t work out, they can go elsewhere.

You assume that she will only have to fill 2 spots. I won’t be surprised if there are more transfers at the end of the season.
