Purdue is a big-time clutch PSU 4th quarter drive and two dumb penalties away from being undefeated. I personally think they are on the same level as Wisconsin right now. Regardless of the nonexistent running game, that offense can still flat out score.

The Bowling Green loss last year fell equally on the players and coaches. The players came ready for all three games against lesser opponents, and the coaches made sure that these opponents were taken out early. Both didn't let off the gas until late in the games and destroyed the competition...

As an example, look at Wake Forest last year. A really good 13-7 record in a down ACC. Pretty much everyone expects the Big Ten to be down compared to last year (though not to the extent the ACC found themselves in).
