Of the stadiums listed, I've been to MI (against OSU), OSU (against MI), WI, and IA Michigan is (by far) the "least loud" of the four - part of it has to do with wide stadium bowl design (there is no "second deck") and part of it is because Michigan fans are known for sitting on their hands...

And with only 18 bowl games in 1989, it actually meant something to be invited to play (now there are around 45 - many of which are just "participation ribbons" - no offense gopher fans.....)

The Penn State football program more or less assumed it would be winning the B1G at least every other year (not once a decade) when joined the B1G in 1990 - Nebraska fans also assumed the same before joining in 2010

I agree - the great thing about Aggie Vision is that it generated a memorable story that (9 years later) still creates a smile when thinking about it. It's something that rarely occurs for a non-P5 opponent blow out.
