Rutgers 77 in 2022 would be my guess. There haven’t been that many years, but that at least would eliminate the Gophers from that conversation as we won’t get in if our NET decreases at all.

Yeah I get that feeling they would be one of those play in 11s that sneak thru to the Sweet 16 after surprising everybody when selected despite a “subpar resume”. I feel like it happens every season. Let that be us!

I would be more than happy to add another shooter to stretch the D for Payne and Co! Although friendly reminder from the broadcast while playing them, he grew up in WI rooting AGAINST the Gophers. So be mentally prepared if you have to root against him next season.

I’m more than happy if folks want to come home if it didn’t work out elsewhere! Especially after hopefully a few success stories where it starts to show that people should be coming in the first place.

I could see right away he wasn’t there (yet) this season. Then again the man is still a freshman and I think everyone (including himself) have put a lot of pressure on him early.
