I’m still not quite sure about all the negativity. I’ve been waiting forever to have an experienced roster and magically (courtesy of the new portal BS), we have just that. I’m cautiously optimistic we find a way to win 18-20 games.

Hopefully we do as well as we did against UNC’s All-American running back. MN defenses have been impressive so far this season.

Definitely a byproduct of the NIL era, but boy do I not recognize nearly as many names as in years past. Who knows. Ironically you probably just bet on the HOF coaches and then anything goes from there.

I wonder how much time and money could save by literally not recruiting high schoolers. Why not go all in unless they’re a big name local recruit. Put it towards NIL instead…

Exactly. Those were the unknowns who played well enough. We are starting with an All-B1G player in Dawson and hoping to add guys like Battle and Peyton.

And all that extra exertion/exposure in the NCAA tournament must have been terrible for him. He’ll probably be given the reigns next year at MSU.

Dawson Garcia is the difference, but of course we aren’t probably going to have a player of his caliber very often with this model. Have to take advantage of it and hope someone else (or 3) blow up!

They need to hire Fox to run the NIL department!
