***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT ILLINOIS BOUNCE-BACK IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Sorry for Morgan, and this is not ideal for Athan to be brought in but if we want to win and get better, this is where he has to show it.

I would say "Get ready for the conservative offense" but we've been in that since the interception. Good thing we have Mo this week. We haven't really been able to stop their offense consistently, so yeah, this is gonna be rough.

This was supposed to be the year. Iowa is down. Wisconsin is down. But nope... I'm telling you, Fleck's only strength is motivation. He's just bad at X's and O's. His "while trailing at the half" stat proves how good he is at adjusting and overcoming things. He's lucky to have Rossi. KC is over...

Illinois is just better. The only thing we have is a great defense and Mo.

I don't know guys... maybe it's time to start Athan. Morgan just doesn't have enough tools for championship play.

See... Morgan can't be throwing those! Put some damn heat on it.

My theory on the loss to Purdue

It's funny how you think I equate being outcoached as each play working or not working. What I meant, which I thought should have been easily understood, is that we just came out passive. Almost as if we thought we could have our way with Purdue. So we game planned that way. I used the opening...

My theory on the loss to Purdue

Outcoached from the start. We got the ball first... Run for a loss, run for a small gain, 3rd down incomplete, punt. (Seriously, this is homecoming, and the game is really important because of the exposure we have been getting, but we come out passive) First defensive series... They dink and...

Gophers coach P.J. Fleck on early fourth-down decision: ‘I would do it again’..."it only cost us 3 points, it was worth it"

Wow, you must not even know what you're saying yourself. I will explain yourself to you since you need help. "The loss was on the offensive playmakers not making plays." The loss (yeah we just lost) was on (You are blaming "the loss" on the offensive playmakers not making plays) since you...

Bucky Irving out-rushes Gophers by himself in week 5

Why are we keeping track of this? They are gone. They didn't want to be here. Is this to validate that 1) They suck and can't make it anywhere else or 2) We suck cause we couldn't keep them?

Gophers coach P.J. Fleck on early fourth-down decision: ‘I would do it again’..."it only cost us 3 points, it was worth it"

This statement makes it seem like in game decisions and coaching doesn't matter, as it's all just the players fault. Did you see the offensive possessions after we tied it up? We curled up and hid under the blankets, and actually tried running out the clock... in a tied game.

Gophers coach P.J. Fleck on early fourth-down decision: ‘I would do it again’..."it only cost us 3 points, it was worth it"

See, you're not even putting into account that some plays are just doomed to not work. Football is not all just athletes doing athletics. It's also a chess game between coaches. There is such a thing as putting players in the best position to succeed. Trying to trick them on 4th down by bringing...

Post Game Thread: Gophers Suffer Disappointing Homecoming Loss to Purdue

Because conservative play calling can't bring you back, and when you're behind by 10+ you are forced to throw into 8 man windows... not a position to put Morgan, who is a game manager and can't do anything extra ordinary to bring you back.
