I wasn't aware of the buyout dropping by $750K on April 1 ... from my perspective, you don't fire him until then and pay the $1M.

It would be great to see Conroy get a few games. It's obvious the guys are not going to play hard for Pitino. He's lost the team. It would be a positive for all involved.

I like Jamal, but after rewatching the 2nd half, he gave up 19 on defense. I don’t think it’s effort ... it’s he’s just not big enough. He needs to be better at the point of attack because he doesn’t the physical size to redirect. Switching also hurts, because he has to be better getting over...

I like Ryan James as well. Probably because I find him to have better game coverage than Marcus at the Star Trip.

Last game wasn’t so great - Tre with 2, Marcus with 3, and Jamal had 5 which is a pretty big number. Combine that with the trio not looking very good on D and you can see how the IL guards had the numbers they got.

I agree ... inconsistency is a sign of weak/bad coaching. This team is not held accountable and it doesn’t appear to have clear expectations, especially on the defensive end of the court.

Our guards were terrible on defense today. Didn’t matter what we did on offense. This was an utter defensive mess that left many of our Bigs essentially helpless trying to recover or stop a dunk. Total lack of energy, effort, and discipline on the perimeter.
