Very good points ... I can’t think of one shooter improving under Pitino. All shot worse. Johnson played (Pitino didn’t) ... Johnson was a shooter (Pitino only complained about shooting). I think it’s reasonable to be optimistic Johnson will be a better coach for shooters.

I wouldn't assume it's an exodus ... the player landscape has changed a lot in college basketball ... with a Coaching change, it's an opportunity for the player to be "re-recruited" ... why not have the new coach convince you to stay and at the same time, see what other schools are offering...

Ed was the only "real coach" on the staff ... others were very early in their careers ... including Richard.
