Until we stop bargain bin shopping for coaches, the result will mostly be the same.

Iowa can only have 1 of DeVries and McCullum. I'd take the other (or even Fran for God's sake).

BTW, Dutcher and SDSU beat Creighton handily on neutral court last night. But no, he can't put a team together in current environment and we wouldn't be any better with him. Ha!

I've been a McCullum fan for a while. If you get a chance, read up on him and his coaching/teaching philosophies. Know you don't hire a D2 coach to run a Power 5 program, but if you're going to reach, you might as well reach for somebody with successful head coaching experience. If you can...

    Nebraska is back...

They need to beat Sconnie because they won't go into Iowa City and beat Iowa.

    Badgers fire their OC

I didn't know that. How high on the APR list are they? Wonder how many teams they will need that don't get 6 wins.

    ROCK BOTTOM HAS BEEN ACHIEVED

So is coffee! (Glengarry Glen Ross). Great movie if anyone hasn't seen. Edit. Forgot actual line was coffee is for closers. But, close enough. Lol.

I was close. Said Zags by 12, they won 80 - 67. Shot 31 free throws and made 27. Difference in the game.

Can SDSU give Zags a game? Will be difficult missing 1 or 2 of their top guys due to injuries. Will be interesting to see. Think Zags win by 12.

Predict the Score Thread: Penn State at Minnesota

The key is our o-line. Need to be able to run a little and give Brosmer time. I think they play their best game of the year. MN - 27 PSU - 24.

    Week 12 Other Games Thread

Just watched replay of Stanford/Louisville. Wow. Some really stupid football by Brohm and Louisville at the end. Even giving them a chance is on Brohm and then 20 yards in penalties with 1 second left. Stanford kicker probably had 2 to 3 yards to spare on his game winning field goal.

Similar to Fleck firing Smith mid-season a few years ago.

Tom Brady calls out a problem with modern parenting: ‘Every time they mess up, we send them to an easier place to succeed’

Anything is possible but don't think there was a "good chance". Generational ability to win. It would have come out. It always did eventually, I'm high school, college and pros.

***OFFICIAL YALE AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

That may be true but I have a hard time believing North Texas, or Yale or the majority of our non-con opponents have more NIL money than us. Comes down to coaching and meshing the talent you have access to. So far, he hasn't shown the ability to maximize, or even be average at, that IMO.

    Nebraska is back...

I think Nebby really needs to win next week to break their non-bowl streak as I don't see them winning @ Iowa the last game.

I'll actually be rooting for Wisconsin (very sorry) next week. Don't want them needing a victory over us to get bowl eligible.

Yea. Should have been holding or PI. Doubt pass is completed anyway as safety over in plenty of time for interception but never know.

    Week 12 Other Games Thread

Watching Mizzou and SC. SC has turned the ball over on downs 4 times. Twice in their own territory and twice in field goal range. They are about to lose this game. I don't get modern coaching sometimes!

Maybe not, but I guarantee the teams he puts together and the players he brings in will be much better than what we are doing
