Hope this is sarcasm. I watched the game. The refs were terrible (of course that Izzo sized ref was part of the problem, again). But MSU got some major home cooking. It really amazes me that Izzo gets away with his continual whining/bitching towards the refs.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure there is a sports related person I hate more than Bo. He came off as an arrogant ass and I find it hard to believe he was humble or a good guy. Could be wrong, but it would take a lot to change my mind.

McDermott is interesting to me. His teams almost always seem competitive.

I'm all for the IU fans being able to "honor" him. Obviously it seems like most of his players really love him...except the one he choked (I'm sure there were more, but the one caught on video).

It's one thing to respect his coaching, but for the love of god he was an ass.

Can't argue with him being a great coach. The point is that it's continual, from one person....oh, and on a GOPHER message board. K and Izzo don't get continual praise on here. Built is built and I expect the exact same theme in almost every post. But it is what it is.

I love the "I've met Gard and he's a good guy" comments. He may be a jerk behind the scenes. And it definitely doesn't mean he doesn't have the balls to punish Davison. But it's a good thing he doesn't have balls, cuz Davison would certainly take a shot at 'em.

He guarded Ayo, one of the top players in the conference. Ayo was 4-12 from the field. Gabe is good defensively. I wouldn't say lockdown at all, but it's very rare that his opponent goes off. He needs to find his shot though - it's been painful to watch.

I understand why they hire these guys, but it does get old. Dakich drives me nuts - you would think he was 10 time BIG coach of the year the way he talks. Maybe we'd feel different/better if a former Gopher announced. Can it be Trent Tucker?!?!? :)

According to 247, WI has 8 commitments in those 2 years. One is ranked in the top 100. Many in that 110-150 range - very nice classes, but "loaded" seems a bit aggressive. Gophers have 3 commitments and 2 are in the top 100...with the other in the top 150.

If it were the first time, maybe I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. But it's not.

What a tough game to watch, like many games vs MSU. MSU is more talented and better coached. We got outplayed. And Izzo owns the refs like he does the administration of MSU. He's a shady little fella.
