I mean eventually it is a coaching issue. If this was a one year thing, OK. But it's been a continual issue under Pitino. So you either need to find a way to "coach" them better on FT's or find players who can shoot FT's, and other shots.

And for some damn reason I continue to watch........ So frustrating!

Has there been any chatter about Beilein? He's a really good coach, but isn't he pushing 70? And his "gaffe" w/ Cleveland can't help things with players.

Very true, but those aren't injury or transfer related - it was a given that those guys would not be around.

If we play the good 'ol "what if" game for Iowa and they had Bohannon, P. McCaffrey and Moss this year...it would seem somewhat possible. But highly doubt their current roster can get anywhere near there.

Yeah, pretty much the same? It's not like I'm defending someone who hasn't excelled this year and isn't consistently high on draft boards.

So he's peaked? He can't get better at dribbling or defending or whatever else you think he sucks at? He's 20. The NBA draft is almost all about potential. I feel like Oturu must have peed in your cornflakes at some point.

So I guess this year or last year could be a fluke then. Time will tell. Many many players go through sophomore slumps. He is a very good defender - not sure what you've been watching.

Bad no call. But sadly I'm not remotely convinced that Oturu would have made the FT's. This team could not be more jekyl and hyde when it comes to shooting - FT's, 3's, mid-range, you name it.

Two above average players? We have two top players. How many current rosters would you take over other BIG teams? Gabe didn't play "too many minutes".
