From what I gather, It's free agency with basically no limits. Per other GH posters, the 85 scholly limit is gone, so if Bama wants to have 150 players on scholarship, they could do that next year. Hope I'm wrong on that...
I'm curious, but not curious enough to waste time on a Nebby board. Is there much love for Frosty happening on their board? And yes, Goldy is great! Big Red or Herpies or whatever it is they have for a mascot, is lame.
He gets a lock on a scholarship. We most likely won't back off on the offer, but we could. There are a lot of transfers out there looking for a home, and they can immediately play.
The last sentence in the article is... “If your son is in high school and he has a 2022 scholarship offer, he should commit right now.”
With all the changes, 2022 is really going to be a messed up year for 'cruits to find a home. If I were a '21 cruit with an offer, I would have grabbed it...
So does this literally mean someone on a basketball team could leave that team now, enroll in a new school for January classes, and play whenever the first day of classes happens? If so, this could get interesting really fast...
I really dislike the corporate logos on soccer jerseys, sure hope football et. al. doesn't go that way. The "Nike" or "Adidas" logo are on the jerseys now, but at least it's small.
Just open up your posts, there are 20 posts per page, and count the number of pages. Pretty easy. You're on your fifth page today, so somewhere between 80 and 100 posts, just a bit more that the 16 you claimed
Sort of like the NFL debate of "do you draft someone for a position in need or take the best player on the board". 10L seems like a really high number though...
Are this year's 'cruits that are delaying their commitments taking a big risk? If I've got this right (do correct me if I'm wrong)...
Every current player that otherwise would have used up all their eligibility can now come back next year for another full ride of college.
The overlords of...
Nebby's "Glory Days" are gone, but they did have a run for a while. From 1981 until 2002 they were continually ranked in the top 25, giving them the record for the longest all-time streak at 348 weeks. Alabama is second, something like 200 straight weeks.
B1G rules again. The ACC has now won only 2 out of the last 12 years (three were ties):
