    Several positive things to note today. They won. Decent sized crowd. They won the third quarter. Hubbard was hitting 3s. Winters made several needed defensive moves/blocks. And they appeared to play hard the entire game.

    Is it time for Whalen to sit down with PJ and Coyle, maybe Reeves, to discuss how she can improve the game management, etc.? Perhaps like PJ did to change coordinators, maybe change the supporting staff? Whalen appears very capable of recruiting. But, she still is a young head coach. Maybe...

    What has happened to Powell? She just seems to be off her game now for several games. If she was clicking more, it seems that Scalia would have more opportunities. Agree the 4 & 5 positions are a definite weakness.

And she often looks like she is somewhat "rusty" in her play. 2020-21: SENIOR SEASON (at Kansas) Played in the first seven games of the before opting out the remainder of the year ... scored 14...

    I noticed in the last game that Powell had some kind of ankle support and assumed that was taking away from her game. Evidently, it got a lot worse. I figured losing Borowicz earlier for the season was going to haunt us at some point when either Powell or Scalia got nicked up.
