I know, I know: Its way too early but has any frosh or other newcomer (other than Brosmer) showing potential to contribute this year? I am also assuming the a bit or two of information can escape Camp Fleck.
I assume that this is a sarcastic comment. In case its not: it's a really rough game with many high impact collisions. People are going to get hurt under those circumstances. IMHO the staff can make a difference with muscle pull injuries by proper warm-up and paying attention to stretching and...
I can almost see the p, q, r, s and t waves of that EKG. At least they didn't appear to present ST elevation (maybe indicative of an ongoing heart attack), or depression (the heart is not getting enough O2) IIRC.
It may be what money that they have right now. I think that its also tough to hire when candidates consider the cost of living, especially housing, in places like LA. Its likely that candidates find themselves saying, "the pay is not great and for what it costs to live here, the pay sucks. No...
Of course. But a part of the HC job is to deal with the press. He had best be a fast study or I can see things getting ugly, especially if he makes awkward statements after tough losses.
My original purpose was to put into context how "substantial" six sacks are in a season. I have started to think that six is pretty impressive. It would obviously be necessary to get one about every other game. In a game there might be about 30 chances to get one, but some of those chances will...
Agree with above. I don't think that anyone is hung up on numbers, but if Striggow or Joyner, or anyone is getting significant sacks, we are putting heat on opposing QB's.
My Gopher football fan buddy is retired and he makes all the plans, which is good. My organizational skills are lacking according to my better half. We are staying in Venice and are supposed to be close to the canals and Abbott Kinney (whatever that is). Go Gophers!
Probably correct. When to a UCLA-Oregon game about 8 years ago and the Duck fans seemed to be concentrated in the NE part of the stadium. That arrangement could have changed since.
Lawyers out there: if someone refuses a breathelizer (sp) it’s an automatic DWI, right? Also if someone being investigated requests a lawyer are they immediately arrested?
A bit off topic here, but speaking of coaching, Fleck consistently says that he does not believe in momentum. Do you think that he means that one play can change the trajectory of a game? So that what happened the previous play or previous 15 plays has nothing to do what happens the next play?
