Yep. This was really the first indication we got of Mase's somewhat on-off love affair as Minnesota's coach. Cooper had just been fired from the Buckeyes and Mase was waiting for the call. Good times.

Yep, the Gophers played in Micron PC Bowl where most fans went "the what bowl?" when announced. The tech bubble bursting was in full swing but this tech industry sponsor was still alive and breathing for the bowl. Gophers lost to NC State 38-30 for that one.
