If we are talking true ceiling, it's got to be 10-2 with losses to Michigan and Penn State, but then again who really had us beating Penn State before the 2019 season… always a chance
RIP to a legend. With NIL regulations coming down the pipe in a couple of years, I foresee another championship headed in our direction. We can be the next Clemson.
Athletes like Daniel Jackson and Darius Taylor are only going to raise Max's ceiling above what he accomplished last year.
Aireontae Ersery on the blindside of a deadly consistent O-Line that brings back 4 starters. They go up against real dudes every day in that D-Line room. Iron sharpening iron.
Our receivers had such bad QB play, and only 24 pass attempts per game. That was even less than Iowa!!
There was huge growth in receiving production from 2018 to 2019.
But 2019 was just a two-man show. Now, Cristian Driver and Tyler Williams give us real options.
13 career interceptions is pretty loud. But without the athletic potential that's typical of the 1st round, it's tough for any secondary guy with (RAS 2.91) to go Day 1, especially with some not-great moments on tape.
Love this for the level of competition in the QB room. Hard to tell how a QB is performing in practice when their surrounding casts and the defenses they're playing against are completely different from 1st to 2nd to 3rd team. Bring in another QB and see who rises to the top for each team.
Huge GROWTH for the program, and I love that there are in-state guys and impactful positions like DL, OL & WR. There is no reason to suggest it won't continue. So get any negativity out of here.
We're about on par for blue chips now with Iowa. It's showing on the field. Who hates Iowa?
