Colorado State @ Wyoming on FS1 this eve. Nico Medved obviously doing a great job, but Jeff Linder has also turned Wyoming around, and more impressive as he lost Marcus Williams to Texas A&M prior to this season and hasn't missed a beat.

They are also now 136-7 at home dating back to 2011, leading the nation in home winning percentage over the past 10-plus seasons.

    Pitino Deserve's A Raise

Add Jeff Linder, Leon Rice and with some time Kevin Kruger to that list of good coaches. Agree with your overall comments on MWC.

Mike Hill, Rob Stone. Lavin is solid as well, Gus Johnson. They have a bunch of good ones & give ESPN a definite run. . .

Ryan Hawkins immediately comes to mind. He put up 18 yesterday for Creighton, and has been a consistent scorer after playing 4 years in mostly obscurity for NW Missouri State. He plays like he could fit in just about any system. Was a first team all-stater in Iowa, but apparently no one at D1...

Pitino thus far 6-4 at New Mexico

I agree on Troy Bell and he was sort of the first noteworthy guy who chose to get away during that early/mid 80's time frame which seemed to set the tone for El Amin also to the Big East (apparently you know of a bunch of others, but I'm talking back during the 80's not the eventual Duke, etc.)...

Gabe's shot percentage understood, he's a solid player and pretty tough to argue he's had a positive impact on Iowa State's turnaround along with Brockington. Hard to find a guy who who can/will defend and can still generate some offense.

I watched this one, while also trying to keep up with Purdue-Rutgers, and the beg. of Vikings. One observation is how differently Carr plays this year (at least in this game). He did take one in the lane with a minute or so left and had it blocked, but by and large, played role of distributor...

What a shot by Ron Harper Jr. I don't think there is a night off in this conference for any team.

2020-21 Gopher Transfers - Where Are They Now?

Not sure about the final sentence, but I do think where college bb is concerned, need to get more used to separating a specific program from their conference affiliation. Good is good, regardless of what conference a school may be in. We're seeing that more even early in a season as schools get...

NC State hit a 3 by their bench & celebrated a bit. Lat Nayen shoved the NC State shooter, so benches cleared. No punches thrown.

UMKC shocker 80-66 victory over Missouri Tigers...

I think I must be in the minority, bc I just don't see this year's early games as so much different from previous years. There's a tendency to lock on to these surprise losses and decide it means a team is bad. I'd instead agree with the comments saying there's talent spread all over, and on a...

If PJ is going to work the portal, Texas isn't a bad place to start, given the exodus they expect, including Joshua Moore at receiver. Here are some numbers for you re: Texas: Sarkisian signed a six-year, $34.2M guaranteed contract. It will/would take more than $50M to buy out Sark and his...

    From now on

There's Washington, Colorado (who thought they had their guy in Mel Tucker, and poof he was gone), countless others in Gophers peer group who would wish for the continuity/stability that Fleck has brought to the Gophers. And this is before we even get to the Miami's, Florida State's, USC's...

    Who should be QB

It's probably already been discussed here, but curious if Kirk Ciarrocca left on decent terms with PJ, other than fact he went to Penn State. He's at West Virginia now, but I believe as an offensive analyst, not even OC.
