    NIL at Warp Speed

Imagine a school like Minnesota. Every time we unearth a Eric Murray, Greg Esslinger, etc. we'll need to pony up every year to keep them from going elsewhere. It will be somewhat like the NFL but with no salary cap and only 1 year "contracts" allowed.

Reporter: “What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you hear the word Wisconsin?” John Michael Schmitz: "Culvers"

My daughter worked at Culvers last summer. You don't want to eat at Culvers. Although the same could likely be said of every fast food restaurant.

All Things Dawson Garcia Recruitment Thread (Class of 2020): UPDATED: Gophers Offered

In the spirit of fairness, he turned down Pitino, who appeared to be dead man walking coming off of a 15-16 season, and turned down a first year head coach attempting to fill an entire roster with transfers.

All Things Dawson Garcia Recruitment Thread (Class of 2020): UPDATED: Gophers Offered

His friend and HS teammate does play at Iowa St. 3 hours difference in "proximity" though. We'll see. I can't see him going to Wisconsin. Milwaukee, Chapel Hill and back to Madison, with the losses they suffered? He's friends and was long time AAU teammate of Ben Carlson, who's not there...

Huntington Bank decided not to sign option to extend naming rights after TCF merger

The sign on the Burnsville bank is 100% true. I pass it on the way to Costco and/or Chick-Fil-A.

Huntington Bank decided not to sign option to extend naming rights after TCF merger

Apparently Huntington Bank can't even afford to replace signage on some locations. The old Burnsville TCF still has one of those tarp signs, the kind you'd see at a fireworks stand, hanging over the old sign on the front of the building.

This guy was the AAU coach for local recruits Nolan Winter, Emmanual Schmitter and others when they were in 8th grade. El-Amin might've been on that roster as well.

    90s music

I saw them at Riverfront Music Festival in St. Cloud in 1995ish? The rolled out looked like they were about 75 years old and on sedatives, with a steel guitar. A bit odd for a college music festival, I thought. Then they proceeded to belt out one song after the next that were great, with rock...
