All time gopher team from your time as a fan?

Nope, Danny. Played here briefly from 2001-2003 ish. Him returning punts was a high wire act. He wouldn't fair catch anything. Had some wild/dangerous fieldings and some really good high risk/high reward returns.

    Too much Mo?

Apparently not. Another 32 carries today. It didn't look good early. He was getting nothing, his ankle was taped like Sheik Adnan El-Kasey's forearm, and at one point he was on the sidelines and appeared like he may be done. I thought they should've brought in Bryce and tried him on some...

    Too much Mo?

36 carries, when it wasn't necessary for him to carry such a heavy load? It's a conundrum, as he is our offense. He averages almost 6 yards a carry and we all saw what we look like when he's out. Coming off the achilles, the injury at MSU, in the medical tent today, and his bruising style...

    Jack Robinson commits to Wisconsin

My kid has been at many of the same AAU tournaments over the years, going back to when he was in 6th grade. Also in the same HS conference, so I've seen him a lot. First off, he's a really good shooter with a quick release. He's also a very smart player and a good passer. Where he falls...

All Things 2022 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

Weird how 4 Hall of Fame QB's all have come apart at the seams, for a variety of reasons. I had expected all to have a great year, two with new teams. Rodgers- Whiny and petty. Lead your young WR's, don't bitch and pout. Brady - Couldn't muster a TD against Carolina, led by PJ Walker...

    Tanner Morgan injury watch thread

I'm not a MD and have zero expertise in the matter, but I can't see how a player can be concussed and play the next week. Everything I've read suggests that multiple concussions in such a short time frame is very bad. Tua played, Kenny Pickett for the Steelers was concussed last week and is...

All Things 2022 Minnesota High School Football Thread

Forest Lake lost 31-17 to a mid-tier SSC team, Lakeville North and Stillwater lost 35-14 to EP. The South Suburban Conference is a beast. Right now they've had the growth, have the numbers, have the money (off season training, ETS, etc.)

All Things 2022 Minnesota High School Football Thread

I've seen most of these teams this year, as my kids go to a SSC school. I'd take Prior Lake and Shakopee off that list. Don't know anything about MG, but my top three SSC teams: 1) Rosemount 2) LS/EP toss up.

    Bands/Artists From Minnesota!

I always liked the Replacements more "poppy" songs, and actually liked the stuff Westerberg put out after the 'Mats. A few of my favorite:

Angela Lansbury, 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Beauty and the Beast' star, dies at 96

When I was a kid I watched every Sunday with my mom. It was her favorite show and it kind of became our thing. When I see that it's on one of those weird channels I usually put it on for a while for sentimental reasons.

    Running Back

They tried Potts to the outside a few times, but they were well diagnosed and he didn't have the speed to beat the DB. I'd much prefer Williams on the quick hitter/one cut runs. He has shown he can be successful on them, eg. his big runs at Wisconsin and last year vs. Nebraska to seal the...

    Mo in the NFL?

Also had one of the greatest runs in Vikings history. 1999 at Denver, I believe. it was like 3rd and 24 from very deep in our own end and he picked it up on a draw play. edit: it was 3rd and 37. NFL copyright prohibited me from linking it, but you can find it on YouTube by searching 'Leroy...
