***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT INDIANA IN-GAME THREAD***

Absolutely loving what Mash and Tre are giving us tonight. Gives me hope for the future. Unless it is Christmas night vs Iowa, Brandon Johnson shooting 3s in not on the list of things I want to see.

Official 2022 Gophers Football Recruiting Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Rumors

The amount of transfers in the next couple of years are going to be exponentially high. Going to be lots of kids who prove to be dominant at G5/FCS schools who transfer to high end programs since they just didn't get that look in HS and at camps from coaches and evaluators, but also kids who end...

Gabe Kalscheur is OUT indefinitely with a broken hand

Yeah, unless it was like a hairline fracture or something, but the odds of that don't seem good. Hate to hear, but hope Mash gets high volume minutes as a result. Would love to see him try to channel some Gabe on defense and take that part of his game to a higher level.

Gabe Kalscheur is OUT indefinitely with a broken hand

Well, it's a broken hand and there's less than a month left. Unfortunately, this is season ending. Feel horrible for the kid.

Wow, if true that's horrible news. Depending on who it is, this one could get ugly.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

With all due respect WG, this is simply not true. FPI gives Indiana a 70% chance to win this one. The Gophers are 0-7 on the road this year. Minnesota is severely outmatched down low against IU. This isn't a "coin toss". IU is heavily favored. Is there a small chance the Gophers could win? Sure...

Gopher Volleyball 2021 - Spring Season

Not entirely true as Hugh at one point went with a 6-2 with Palmer/Tabberson at the beginning of his tenure here but besides that, you're right. He much prefers a 5-1, as most coaches do in an ideal world. Shaffmaster brings alot of great things to the table, so I don't want to make it seem...

Gopher Volleyball is on BTN against Penn State right now if anyone is looking for something entertaining to watch. They are playing at a very high level!

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

No, but he's shown minimal propensity to generate any offense halfway into his career... my guess is he doesn't come around in that regard. In which case you have a guy that is purely out there for defense when giving starting bigs a blow. That's all I'm going to say on that. Would like to keep...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

My initial post said that I know he plays solid defense at times. We have alot of guys on the team that can defend yet we seem to lose more than we win in the B1G. Defense is teachable, I want guys who can actually score the ball and shoot better than your average rec center pickup player. That...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

He's 6 of 36 from three and barely looks like he knows how to dribble a basketball. That doesn't help. He'd be on the floor if he was better than what we already have out there. EDIT: 6 for 37 now

But JMurph was actually tough. Thats the difference.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Boy, I know he just got in the game but I'm ready for Ihnen to transfer. He possesses absolutely zero offensive ability. I know he plays solid enough defense at times but this team needs offense badly. Mashburn needs to be on the floor alot more than he has been.

Robbins horrible once again. He's actually regressing into what he looked like at during the beginning of the season.

Gopher Volleyball 2021 - Spring Season

Good post. One thing the ladies still need to work on is getting more block touches / staying disciplined with their block to give the defense more of a chance.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MARYLAND VALENTINES DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

The Terps are 1-5 at home, and 3-4 on the road in B1G games this year. If there's ever a time for the Gophers to prove they can win one on the road, it is today.

Gopher Volleyball 2021 - Spring Season

Yes, Atherton isn't in game shape between her knee and her conditioning... I wouldn't plan on seeing her this season. Bailey appears to be a covid-related matter so she should be back soon to provide insurance and give Hugh an option for the double-sub with Miyabe.

Back to 17 wins to be “completely safe” heading to BTT

The path to clinching bid before B1G Tourney time seems quite simple given teams on the bubble struggling right now, correct SS? 2 home wins + 1 road win, OR go 3-0 at home the rest of the way. Do-able, but certainly not a shoe-in. Will have to earn that.

***OFFICIAL PURDUE AT MINNESOTA AFTERNOON IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

There are 2 obvious scenarios here that seem mutually exclusive. 1- the gophers make the ncaa tournament , and 2- Pitino gets fired Both things (my ideal scenario) won't happen, and it'd be crazy to want the ladder over the former. Pitino's a great guy as far as I'm concerned and quite...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT PURDUE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Not even close when you consider his defense (a whole half of the sport of basketball), intangibles, and inability to perform on the road (half of the games he plays in).
