Sanders is basically giving up on high school recruiting at Colorado. He brought in 12 high school players in 2024 and is at 14 for 2025.
You have it flipped a little bit though. A really talented high school skill player has a chance to play right away in college whereas lineman usually need...
Assume it was directed at on the court leadership and watching the team that is 100% true. Last year Hawkins was the leader, this year? Garcia is the best player but he doesn't really come across as a leader....Fox, Mitchell, Patterson.....nobody really seems to be taking charge on the court...
Do you know if those are just football numbers of if that includes football and basketball? If basketball is involved I could see that helping Indiana and Michigan State.
Will be interesting to see if Indiana can sustain this success or if it is just a flash in the pan.
As for believing the...
lol....UNC shouldn't touch this with a 10 foot poll, there is no way it would end well. Belichick is not a good fit for the current college game. It would be a disaster.
I'm not sure what NCAA football and basketball are right now but they aren't professional. Pro sports have rules and structure. College football and basketball just have chaos right now.
I don't see recruiting being a problem for Belichick since his name alone will carry a lot of weight with recruits.....but I just don't see him having the patience to deal with today's college athletes, Saben didn't.
I'm not surprised he wants to get back into coaching but thought for sure it...
Some clickbait with the "Entire" team stuff but won't be surprising at all if a bunch of key players from Marshall with eligibility left follow their coach to Southern Miss. That will probably be a very common occurrence during coaching changes in this current day and age.
What? Players running out of eligibility is just part of the college game. Unless you are going for a joke of some kind your comment doesn't make sense.
It's always a crap shoot when you get into the later rounds of the draft. At that point it becomes more about what teams need so a player that is good enough to get drafted might not for a variety of reasons.
In some cases it is beneficial to the player to be and UDFA as opposed to a 6th or...
At this point when you watch the broadcast the announcers are constantly pointing out where a player transferred from, almost feels rare when a player isn't a transfer from somewhere.
It would be funny if during one of the NFL intros where they have the player say their name and where they went...
Got it. Going to hold off on adding him until there is something official. Walking on senior day isn't always a guarantee that a guy doesn't come back.
Has become pointless to really try and project your roster out more than a year or so because with the roster churn there is going to be a ton of changes from one season to the next.
Has been interesting around here to see the evolution as it relates to high school recruiting. This board used...
There is a 5 day January window for the teams in late bowl games and the CFP. Assume with our game being played on January 3rd we would be included in that window.
Portal just officially opened today. Not going to see guys from the playoff teams leaving and a lot of others will wait until after their teams bowl game. I am sure it will be the same level of crazy or more, especially with the 105 roster limit.
We have had 10 guys go into the portal so far but none were key players. Coaches make crazy money but the roster management piece has to be a nightmare, even for the schools with lots of pay for play money.
I get the feeling that you guys are in a similar boat to us in all of this.
