We have that discussion around here all the time. To me though what is going on in college sports is way worse then professional sports. Pro sports has structure, rules....what is happening to college football and basketball is just chaos.

That's fair.....just assuming in general that the level of player he would be going against on a daily basis would not be the same as what he would likely see at a power conference school. Lots of good programs outside of the premier conferences and Grand Canyon has definitely been one of those.

Couldn't agree more but for whatever reason our guys seem to take pride in playing in the bowl games for the most part. Fleck seems to have a good approach to them, puts the focus on the young players during the leadup but still takes game seriously and puts value in game itself and our...

You need 4-5 QBs on your roster so he can come in and run the scout team or whatever. In the past you wouldn't have spent a scholarship this way but with the new 105 roster limit things like this might become a little more common.....maybe....who knows....:)

Opt-outs can definitely have a big impact on teams in bowl games these days. Will be interesting to see how each team fares in that department. For the most part our guys seem to play in bowl games but I am sure there will be a handful that skip it.

Anyone just looking at the record is doing VT a disservice. They lost a number of close games against quality opponents. Definitely a game we can/should win if we play well but they won't be a pushover by any means.
