This is the only response which I will make to this thread. After many disappointments over far too many years, I decided to have hope one more time when I heard P.J. for the first time. I don't care about Kill/Claeys, Brewster, Holtz, etc. The focus on academic, athletic, social and...
Actually, even though Dino has been playing WR, he said when he visited that he will play where the coaches want him. If we get the Greens, or similar players; I think that Dino will be a DB.
In the why should I care? category: the Greens had Minnesota and Baylor as their "warm" schools. Join big brother Seth before some other 4-star WR's beat you to it.
This is an easy one. Michaek Lantz can do the job on PAT's and FG's from 40 in. Since Ryerse was only kicking off, the new PWO kicker from Wisconsin, Dragan Kasich, should give Ryerse plenty of competition if Ryerse stays.
Thanks! I read 3 of the articles, and I thought that they were quite fair. While the loss had to be shocking for many there, the articles just made it clear that Auburn was outplayed.
For Sanford, being part of an outstanding offense for 2 or 3 years should give him another head coaching opportunity.
For Minnesota, I certainly hope that he makes an excellent offense even better. Beyond that, I hope that he can do 2 things which would be special: 1. Develop Clark, Kramer or...
I think that next year's QB coach needs to focus seriously on developing a no. 2 QB who can be productive if Morgan is injured. Morgan has to start, but I'm not convinced that Annexstad comes next.
Rutgers is the right place for Bailey. I see him as a project who may take 2-3 years before he can contribute. The Gophers don't need that; but Rutgers will probably be improved a bit by then.
Kaden and his family have picked what they feel is the best direction for him. While I would have liked to see him as a Gopher, I hope that this is the start of the next great chapter in his life!
I just checked on Cameron. So far, it doesn't look like he has signed anywhere. I have nothing against Spielman; but I think that Martinez would be dynamic at safety or WR.
Well, the rumor from a few days ago seems true about Dakota Thomas. Since I don't have a better idea, I'd like to see the rumor of movement by Cameron Martinez come true.
As far as I can tell, the 2 players who haven't actually come for OV's are Dakota Thomas and Dylan McGill. I'd be fine with adding Jah Joyner, and saving the other one for a big-time recruit, if there are 2 spots.
This topic has been covered well; but I'd like to mention one other player---Jason Williamson. If he is healthy, I'd like to see what he can do on defense.
Early in the week, my goals were LB, DE and OL---in that order. As a bonus, the Gophers added a PWO LB and a PWO kicker. That's outstanding! The loss of Panagos didn't seem to matter. If Logan-Redding and Joyner have comparable talent, we got my preference. I think that Logan-Redding will...
When I saw that the Gophers offered him Dec. 3rd, he became my top target. Putting him together with Itayvion and Cody Lindenberg should be interesting!!
To me, getting commitments from Burns, Joyner and Walters would be great end to return. Getting a player from IMG carries more weight to me than getting players from Clearwater.
