Paul Chryst - not a bad guy

Been a Gopher fan longer than most on here have been alive. So not trolling. The Gopherholers were stressing out and not understanding why any of our instate recruits would go to that place east of us. The simple reason may be that the coach is a likable person. Simple as that.

Paul Chryst - not a bad guy

I just hear folks hating on anything Wisconsin. Listened to him talk a few times. Like Spoofin said maybe a little boring but seemed like a nice guy. Folks are complaining and not understanding losing kids to Wisconsin. Just saying a lot of people like a lower energy...down to earth guy.

Paul Chryst - not a bad guy

I have probably read more about Paul Chryst and have listened to more of his interviews this year than I ever have. I know a lot of you could never put the fact that he is coach at Wisconsin aside ... however, I think he is a nice, down to earth guy that a lot of us would love if he were our...

    Less Predictable

Anytime you are less predictable you should be more successful....IMO

    Less Predictable

Yes I do and so do you .... every team has those things in their playbook. They just decide to use them or not.

    Less Predictable

I see teams quite often try a trick play. Again ... it keeps teams honest. Just a couple come to mind ... every year the Patriots use those plays. Oklahoma seems to come up with those types of plays and he is considered an offensive genius. A silly response to say that by adding a few plays...

    Any time signing period

I don’t know for sure but I would think anytime after the late date until the season started in the fall.

    Less Predictable

The fun trick play once in a while would be fun. See. a lot of teams throwing them out there, H.S, college and the pros.

    Less Predictable

I hope we run a few less predictable plays in certain areas. I know during the regular season there may not have been a viable option if Morgan got hurt so they didn't run him hardly at all. However, in the bowl game I would like to see him keep the ball once in a while to keep the defense...

    Any time signing period

Organizations like ESPN and Internet groups would probably fight the change because they most likely earn extra advertising and income this time of year.

    Any time signing period

I actually like the idea. I wonder if this has become a made for TV event and too big to change to something like you brought up. I would like it ... although I backtrack a bit because this is one of my favorite weeks of the year. They monitor at my work when you are doing none work stuff...

    Any time signing period

I remember someone on here mentioning that kids should be able to sign anytime they decide they are ready to commit to a school. Who would that benefit the most? Schools like Minnesota or helmet schools? I see it being good for the schools if they can get a kid to really commit and not just...

Gophers receive a commitment from IMG Academy linebacker Jaqwondis Burns

Don't know anything about him but if lots of other schools want him I'm glad he's going to be a Gopher!

    Panagos to Rutgers

I don't like seeing this ... but from an ethics point of view ....it is better than a kid finding out his position coach is moving on a day after he signed his letter. Is Panagos getting a raise in salary or position? Is there some conflict with Fleck?

    Auburn Offensive Coordinator?

Was listening to the SEC network on the way home from work. They mentioned that Morris may get more control of the offense and they may try to practice some of what Morris brings to the table in order to use it for the bowl game. So that may be a disadvantage for the Gophers if that happens...

Gophers open as 8 point underdogs against Auburn.

Good note: I was just going to ask about how Vegas makes their money. I thought it was something like how you explained it. Thanks.

Gophers open as 8 point underdogs against Auburn.

Teams from the north are usually at a disadvantage in most bowl games. If not next door...in most bowl games the other team is usually a team from the south or in the same region. So I am not surprised the line is 8 points. I'm not saying that the Gophers can't win but I would think the...

    All Things Bowl Game Speculation

I think the big difference between middle of the road teams and the top teams is the OL and DL. I don’t think we match up well in that area. Especially without the big guy not being able to play.

    Dropped punt by becky

I bet every long time Gopher fan was remembering that dropped punt with just a few seconds against Wisconsin. Bounced right up into the hands of a Wisconsin defender and broke the hearts of any Gopher fans watching or listening on the radio. ?
