So your catching the station that is going toward the stadium not the one going to the Viking stadium? I know on the way back to the Viking stadium the door opened at the next station but it was too full for anyone to get on.

I know both teams played in the same weather but I think the Gophers could win this game if not played in slop. IMO it was a terrible match-up in this kind of weather for the Gophers. Wisconsin had to be thrilled when they saw the forecast.

We are normally pretty calm people so we handled it but there were a lot of tempers flaring when a mass of people would just cut in and everyone else followed them while folks who had waited a half hour were left behind.

This is my first experience using the light rail at the stadium sight. I think they need to do a little better with crowd control. Especially on days with expected big crowds. There was no manageable crowd control with getting on the train. At Viking and Twin's games they have guide rails...

You could see that screen was going for big yards before the pass was complete. There were two Gophers out there. Three Badger linemen ... two other Badgers. One Badger lineman kept looking for someone to block but there were no Gophers there to block.

Somewhere ... since last year we have turned into a finesse team on offense. We used to run to set up our pass. Now we pass to set up our run. Our pass game was not consistent against the Badgers so we were never able to set up the run. I really think the weather conditions hurt the Gophers...

My son and I were talking about just skipping the fake handoffs because they paid no attention to them. He thought they did it that way because that is the way they practice it. I agree ... that extra fraction of a second to see your receiver would help with the pressure we were seeing.

I am super happy that the Gophers are on a roll and getting national exposure. However, I think you do have to be the right kind of recruit to fit in with Fleck. Fleck comes with a package and the kids he gets will have to be the kind that buy into that culture.

If we tackle well and maintain gap integrity I think we can win. If we tackle like they revert to on occasion and allow Taylor to cut back ... then I think we have a rough time with the Badgers. I think this game lies in the hands of the defense ... if they step up Gophers could win.

I’m pretty sure it is head and shoulder injuries that they are trying to prevent. Still love that tackle with the arms wrapped around the legs.
