Lol people acting like Carr making a bs jumper is good coaching by Pitino. Im thrilled with the badly needed win but that was one of those “no no yes!!” Moments. I will always cheer for them and celebrate a win regardless of who is the coach but it’s just frustrating to watch our team play.
Honestly I think Pitino has been able to get some talent here, it’s just abundantly clear he is a terrible in game coach. If the talent level stays the same and we get a coach who can teach a coherent offense there is no reason why we can’t make the tournament 4 out of 5 years and have a top 4...
I’ve seen a lot of complaints about Carr, they are completely warranted after that last possession. But I am still in disbelief about the possession before. We wasted TWO timeouts and still couldn’t get a quality shot up! What kind of dumb plays is Pitino drawing up during these timeouts? That...
Having a hot start from three honestly was probably bad for us. We were bound to revert to mean eventually and it everyone started jacking up threes the rest of the game. But what the hell is Pitino doing with our offense? Is there no accountability for all the bad threes we take? This happens...
I’ve said this multiple times, You could tell 5 minutes into the game that we would lose because of the sloppy turnovers and bad shot selection. That’s bad coaching!
Honestly I think everyone could agree that ten minutes into the first half it was pretty obvious we were gonna get smoked just by the types of shots we were taking and the stupid turnovers we committed... yeah the score was close at halftime but it was a matter of time. I’ve had a lot of...
What I don’t understand about our road offense is it goes beyond difficulty making shots. We struggle to create looks so we resort to more iso and bad threes. There aren’t fans so getting into our offense shouldn’t be this difficult. It’s bizarre.
I know this has been mentioned before in previous threads, but I’m still just so bummed the NCAA screwed Carr into sitting out a year every time I watch him play. A team with Murphy, Amir, Carr, Oturu and McBrayer could of made some noise.
I think everyone on this board has been spoiled by Oturu and Murphy the past few years. Robbins is fine. Yes he isn’t as good as the “future pro” some analysts said he would be, but 10 and 6 from a transfer is all I would of really asked for. He is an average big ten big and that is ok for...
Im not super in the know about his situation. However, Anyone who thinks it’s unreasonable for a 18 year old kid to want to visit a place before he commits to being there for the next 4-5 years needs a reality check. I’m not sure if that’s his rationale, but I’m not gonna fault anyone in his...
