Agreed 100% I can't see schools like that "needing" all the "extra" TV money that they're planning on getting from being in the ACC, minus the extra travel expenses. That has to take a toll on student-athlete wellbeing too. My wild guess is that they won't undo that now that they're in...

Tonka the #1 rated public high school (non-charter) in the state? (In terms of like graduation, college, etc.) I've "heard things" about EP district, as well. Not sports things, other stuff. Perhaps best not to elaborate in this thread, just what I've heard anyway I don't have firsthand knowledge.

Lot of housing developed there in the 70's and 80's? (I'm sure some is newer than that, too.) Kids (long) gone and parents putting them on the market, perhaps for the first time.

I never realized how close in distance these two high schools are to each other. Were not in the same conference for a long time?
