    JOSHUA OLA-JOSEPH A GOPHER!!

Logic isn’t his thing. Anyway, in his interview with Doogie he said he’s 6’7” now.

    JOSHUA OLA-JOSEPH A GOPHER!!

Jordan Murphy was 6'6" and wasn't necessarily a "freak athlete". Just solidly built and fundamentally sound on the block. He turned out ok in the B1G :p

    Eleven Warriors Site

OSU fans know as much about the Gophers as the national media. The media seem to think we're a 4th-6th place team in the West. If I saw those projections as an OSU fan, I wouldn't be worried about it either. What they may not know is that a) we have the best RB in the B1G, b) we arguably have...

    Santoso to Panthers

52-yarder and still had the leg for another 10-15 yards. Pretty cool for Ryan!

    CJ Stroud

People like to hope there’s a weakness there that we could exploit. We can beat them. It won’t be easy and bounces would need to go our way (ie, like the refs picking up an obvious targeting penalty gift-wrapping a TD), but this team can do it.

All Things Joshua Ola-Joseph Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022; Osseo HS; Gophers Offered)

Could be, but I think similarly likely scenarios: 1) he's more methodical making decisions like this and isn't going to commit on the spot like Payne/Carrington (ie, wants time to think through his decision some more or wants to discuss with people close to him that aren't on the visit with him...

All Things Joshua Ola-Joseph Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022; Osseo HS; Gophers Offered)

No, but when using Pitino's history of it being done without including the context for when and how often it was done so that people could complain about Johnson not getting a top 100 out of state player within his first few months, it's worth pointing out the context to show how ridiculous that...

All Things Joshua Ola-Joseph Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022; Osseo HS; Gophers Offered)

Obviously would've loved to have Tre and Heide. I don't know enough about King and Watson to have an opinion on them. But Carrington, Payne, and Ola-Joseph would be the start of a really solid class IMO, and I'd be really excited for them to be at the U.

    B1GPAC Conference

All valid points. At the same time, we could do nothing and the PAC12 joins with the remaining Big12 teams to form a super conference, leaving the B1G behind the conference arms race which could cause the various TV deals to be less lucrative. Who really knows!?

Realistic Assessment of PAC 12 Situation. Outcome Unknown, but Big Ten in Good Position

I’m guessing USC/UCLA would be a package deal, neither of them would come unless they both do. I also like the idea of adding Cal/Stanford - both having good/great athletics (at least outside the revenue sports) and high-level academics. I’d add Washington if they wanted in, same with Colorado...

I already addressed this in an earlier post. Keep up.

All Things Tre Holloman Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022)

I’m sure he was selling himself and Xavier, but was Tre even remotely interested in Xavier as a destination? Besides, the discussions of “Come to Xavier where I’m an assistant coach where we follow the head coach’s philosophy” vs “Come to MN where I’m the HC following my philosophy” are...

So you think BJ was selling the U to Tre before being HC? 🤔 😂 you do you. I’m willing to have an honest discussion. Clearly you do not.

Nope, wouldn’t want to steal your thunder, bud 😂

All Things Tre Holloman Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022)

Nope. But what I am saying is that the relationship dynamic before becoming HC is different. Telling that you don’t understand this. I doubt this is true. You living in some fantasy world where each HS kid should make their college choice based on YOUR wishes isn’t an excuse to bash the staff...

All Things Tre Holloman Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022)

My thoughts if anyone cares. Tre choosing MSU over MN isn’t surprising. I truly believe that Ben did all he could and outworked Izzo but in the end, the relationship between Tre and Izzo developed over the span of a couple of years (plus having a much more successful program) was more than Ben...

    Potential 2022 starting lineup

Don’t see Thompson, I’d guess he’d be the C and Fox a PF unless they went small. But with a couple additional pieces in this ‘22 class, they’ll be young and raw, but there’ll be talent there too.

All Things Braeden Carrington Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022; Gophers Commit)

The Strib article said he’s planning to decide in September (boo!) but also said the MN staff has been recruiting him the hardest (yay!). Things sit well for him but I don’t think we’ll hear about any commitment from him next week.
