We were robbed of a Minnesota v New Mexico State bowl game.

PJ was bitching about the Badgers and other teams "negative recruiting" our players. Not sure if that was for recruits or transfers but he just did it to Kill. They have a history of battling for recruits that predates both of their Gopher jobs. I get he's in the portal so he's up for grabs...

Is this negative recruiting? Positive? Is it all about perspective?

Pretty much every media outlet had him in the top 10 transfer QBs, ahead of many FBS P5 guys. I like this move.

Lol. Can't escape Bowling Green. I think we host them again in 2025. I guess whatever, we need the extra practices and this is an oponent we can compete against with our thin roster

Perhaps an ideal QB depth chart would be the transfer Brosmer, KRamer (convince him to come back for one more), Shikenjanski then Lindsey gets his redshirt

I will add that I'd prefer the New Hampshire guy but in case that didn't work out this is semi intriguing. I think Bouman has two more seasons of eligibility so wouldn't be threatening to our incoming freshman from Arkansas

What about Todd Bouman's kid at U of South Dakota? He's had a really good season and plays in a Fleck similar style of offense. He doesn't throw a lot but makes throws when needed and can tuck and run when needed. Thoughts? Looks like they'll be advancing another round in FCS playoffs

Athan would perhaps find more success in the MVFC where the QBs typically complement the offense and don't carry them on their back. Perhaps Illinois State as it's near his hometown and Zach Annexstad just finished his final season. I wish him the best but think it's time to bring in a transfer...

The students were great this year and really stepped it up for the big matchups. Hope we can keep that going.
