The Gophers Will Win the West

Beat iowa, beat Wisconsin, then I agree, but we don't win the West until we beat both those teams.

Big Ten Quarterbacks 2023 (10. Minnesota Golden Gophers, Starter: Athan Kaliakmanis)

Much better than 10, but ranking QBs is an exercise in futility. I just think AK has tremendous upside and we will see it this year. Great arm, good mobility. Now he just needs to do it on the field. I just look at the Michigan and MSU quarterbacks as comparison, and I would take AK.

Big Ten Quarterbacks 2023 (10. Minnesota Golden Gophers, Starter: Athan Kaliakmanis)

Let's start by listing which Big Ten QBs MIGHT be better than Kaliakmanis. The Michigan Qb? sorry, he makes more plays w his feet than his arm. Who else? Stroud is gone at Ohio State. I'm waiting ...

Hard hit brings halt to Gophers spring football practice and a lesson from P.J. Fleck

Did fleck also say anything about Ohio state, Michigan and/or Penn state DBs never being called for those types of hits. I'm thinking Jackson was the receiver who was drilled in the opener two years ago by an Ohio state DB, and the resulting loose ball was declared a fumble, and Ohio state...

Could Athan K's Game become like Daniels Jones's

I like kaliakmanishegood's upside. He's got a great arm and I think he can run but the arm is his special talent. Let's see how he develops. As for jones, let's see him against a good defense

    2022-2023 Other Bowl Games Thread

I'm knee deep in the champagne, but Ohio State sure puts on a show like no one else with its receivers and the cool hand of Stroud. I'd like to see horses like that for Kaliakmanishegood to throw to

    B1G 20 team setup

If you you drop Stanford and Cal, since there's no assurance either interested in joining Big ten, that leaves 18 teams with 9 in Eastand 9 in West, so play each team in your division (8games) then add two crossovers, for ten game conference schedule plus two non conference games. If Utah wants...

    Commitment! Darius Taylor

Got to like this Taylor kid encouraging others to join gophers. Snowdon is 4 star DB out of Detroit. Maybe we can attract more Cindy commits

Just checking in to say adios, packing my bags and heading for Mexico. I'm sure to find some positive vibes down there. Regardless of the outcome, I remain a Gopher forever. Peace out everyone!

Could next weeks Iowa game be the coldest game in recent memory?

Please don't accuse me of heresy or something but if the weather is as cold or worse than expected, move the game to Vikings stadium.
