My concern has been that the mid- and low-majors were turning into farm teams for high-majors. It seems like maybe we're one of those farm teams.

A little ragged, but I liked what I saw, especially compared to how things had been going. The NIT is a great chance for the team to get their legs back under them at full strength and finish on a stronger note. As Yogi said, 90 percent of the game is half mental...or something like that.

So let's call it a success, although in my heart of hearts I'd call it a qualified success. Those couple blown 20-point leads leave a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm still not satisfied where things are at after three years of this experiment, but the staff will get another year.
