***OFFICIAL ST. FRANCIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

He does put the ball on the floor unnecessarily. That'll vanish over the course of the year. I hope.

***OFFICIAL ST. FRANCIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Not saying he'll be a star - I don't see that yet. But I see him looking visibly larger and stronger. Grabs some boards with confidence. Can shoot a little. Can defend a little. Emerging, but will take time. ... I think so much of his trajectory relates to him growing into his body.

Although, I see a real player emerging in him. ...Next year? Late this year?

***OFFICIAL ST. FRANCIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Agree. Ball movement looks intentional, and should improve over the year. It's as though we're watching real basketball. Young team. But they play and will improve.

***OFFICIAL ST. FRANCIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

All in the paint... Backdoor cut; drives. I think one rebound. He's impressive, in that he's strong but has a soft touch. Can't really teach that. And that's been consistent with him over the two games I've watched him.

M My usual streaming service comes up empty on this one. Gets almost every college football and NFL game, though.

Mic'd Up Monday with Dawson Garcia (video)

I can't be the only one who noticed how physically ready Payne looked in that video...?

    Propositional Football

Propositional football. What is it? If A, then B. If B, then C. And so on. Architecturally, this works. And from a "master plan" point of view, this is sound. As a matter of fact, it means you have a master plan. There is one problem. If "A" never occurs, the entire thing is derailed...

    Aireontae Ersery

A simple reach block of a defender with leverage is difficult. Can't imagine a couple gaps away! I noticed that Mo seems to run to the left side a lot... Anyone know if Mo is left-handed? Anyone know if Aireontae is left-handed?

    Aireontae Ersery

On a few occasions, I've notice him seal up the left edge of the line air-tight. And Mo always seems to get a big gain when that happens. ...Anyone else notice he seems to have a knack for sealing the edge?

If I had to offer food for thought...

In response to some other posters, I am not making a point about how to manage all games. Just the one where you are dominating. I think PJ's strategy is proper in many instances. For example, if the Gophers are playing an explosive team, drive the bus as slowly as you can. The problem that...

If I had to offer food for thought...

I don't think you and I disagree at all. I would point to the exact same drive as being the one that ultimately tilted game situation, and I would have run the offense in slow motion in the second half. My point relates to the first half. Consider speeding up in these sorts of games (not...

If I had to offer food for thought...

I'd point out to PJ that he may want to reconsider his squeeze-the-life-out-of-the-game strategy when dominating in the opening half. Here's why. Notice that despite the statistical dominance, the Gophers hadn't really put the game away at the half? This means that if Thorne doesn't fumble on...

Tanner Morgan has never looked like this.

23 of 26 for 268 yds, and 3 TDs? He's had a top-line stat like that before. Several times, actually. That's not what I'm referring to. Distributing the ball to TEN different receivers? 6 balls to Brown-Stevens; 3 to Wright; 3 to Jackson; 3 to Spann-Ford; and so on. Today Tanner showed us...
