Some stuff being left out: Coach is 13-4 against the B1G and 20-8 against UCLA/USC future B1G-teams. This isn't some random guy getting a chance to coach at a B1G school—it's an already-B1G-caliber coach who is just now getting the resources, fanbase, commitment, etc. of a storied B1G program.
