a multi year back up center makes WAY more sense than a 1 year Olineman center

i legit answer that question on the part you quoted....JOJ would not have started if both Fox and Ihnen were healthy. 1. Ihnen would have started in JOJ's place. 2. We would have won maybe 2 more games...... and im not defending Ben at all.....hes in over his head

as i said.....as it stands now....thats who we have right now.... and i have said all along that a big wing was a need on the transfer front and still is and i will add that JOJ held his own as a 3 last year as a true freshman. and i think Betts is more a 3 than a 4 as well.

lol....love all the hills people would die on in a forum.... JOJ would not have started most of the season with a healthy combo of Ihnen/Fox and if you are going to put up or shut up at least know that Payne started 4 games and wasnt a main starter

he proved his first 2 years that he isnt a very good wing.....and looked his best at the 4....and i think in a perfect world he is a back up 3/4 man....but with how things stand i think he, JOJ, & betts will have a nice little battle through the summer and fall to see who can grab the reigns at...

well with only 1 blown out knee i would have felt pretty confident that they both would have battle for starting spots..... whos spots they would or could have taken who knows.....but i would have felt a lot better about the team with both those guys player.....thats for damn sure.

And any news if he will actually visit here? any 2 combo of Pride, Brown, & Bairstow and i still like the transfer class

So we got Charles Pride coming in on Thursday for a visit. And Darius Brown coming Friday Saturday Wrightsell maybe scheduled for this week as well? Sean Baristow visit maybe happening this week as well?

yup....or if lets say Iowa State was going after a kid and that kid commits elsewhere well than maybe they go after a guy that we are after trickle down effects for sure
